No other laundromat has been serving people in all South Tucson longer than Thrifty Wash. We are your go-to source when you need clean clothes. For over 50 years now, people go to the corner of 12th Ave and Ajo Way whenever they need to do their laundry, it's a convenient location with easy access and lots of parking space. Our prices are among the lowest in the city and our customer service speaks for us. We have plenty of washers and dryers, enough for the biggest and toughest jobs, plus, we maintain the highest standards of business integrity by following local and national regulations and environmental safety rules!

Our History
Thrifty Wash opens its doors
Thrifty Wash started in 1969 with a small number of top load washers and dryers on the North side of the building. The South side had Dry Cleaning machines
Thrifty Wash expanded
By the end of the 90’s a fire in the Dry Cleaners location at the south side of the building resulted in expanding the laundromat into both locations, 3787 & 3791 S 12th Avenue. With the expansion, larger volume washers were added to the laundromat.
Thrifty Wash keeps growing
Under a new administration in 2010, the laundromat improved. Again, in about 2013, more large capacity washers were added.
Thrifty Wash gets even better
By the end of 2018, a new ownership took charge of the business and since then, we have been working with improvements to the store, services and machines offered to our customers.
